The portal entry is like the eyes of the soul and will have a first and impactful impression on a potential buyer. The exterior of a home or building projects a certain style, identity and many times, a potential buyer may not get past the impression from the exterior. Exterior Home Staging will typically incorporate a facelift effort, which will be a more permanent solution.
Exterior Home Staging may be as simple as furniture rental and arrangement for an outdoor patio area, paint color specification, a new mailbox, light fixture, house numbers, or doorbell. Exterior Home Staging can also include recommendations and services such as low-level architectural adjustments, hardscaping or landscaping. In any event, consider an experienced Designer who can communicate and execute a visual improvement for your property.

We have the distinct ability of taking an existing photographic image of your property and rendering examples in order to help communicate an effective improvement prior to any actual change. Exterior Home Staging projects can be considered for the greater Chicago and Chicagoland area. Staging projects may be considered for areas outside of the area. All travel expenses would need to be inclusive. Some exterior projects can be executed via email.

Although the dominant style of this website is of the Craftsman genre, Joseph is fully capable of staging appropriately for the architectural style of your home be it Modern/Contemporary, Colonial, Georgian, or other. Joseph will also discuss with you and/or your Realtor the target market and demographic of your area and stage in a targeted fashion.
In suitable cases, Joseph may select some lighting and accessories from the product mix found at Oak Park Home & Hardware and use them for staging purposes. Many items are available on a rental basis such as table lamps, framed prints, tiles, or textiles to name a few. This has a distinct advantage because of rapid availability and high quality at a low cost.
WHAT JOSEPH WILL DO:
Initial consultation is a single fee for up to 2 hours scheduled at your convenience. Recommendations will be made at the time of consultation. This may include recommendations for recomposition of elements, furniture/accessory rearrangement, removal or redeployment, color scheme/color selection, planning for possible storage, room theme staging, possible structural changes, and more. Remember...every project requires some level of a "custom strategy"!
Thereafter, customers may select to complete all work themselves. Customers may select to have Joseph and his recommended service people to execute recommendations made. Joseph has a flat hourly fee for continued work (on site and/or off site tasks).
It is as simple as that!
